MacBook Pro

By : wasin singhanan
a line of Macintosh portable computers introduced in January 2006 by Apple Inc., and now in its third generation.
Replacing the PowerBook G4, the MacBook Pro was the second model, after the iMac, to be announced in the Apple–Intel transition. It is also the high-end model of the MacBook family and is currently produced with 13- and 15-inch screens, although a 17-inch version has been offered previously.

First generation

Mega Man

By : wasin singhanan

known as Rockman (ロックマン) in Japan, is a video game franchise from Capcom, starring the eponymous character Mega Man, or one of his many counterparts. The series comprises well over fifty releases, making it Capcom's most prolific franchise. As of December 31, 2010, the series has sold approximately twenty-nine million copies worldwide. The Mega Man games began in 1987 with the first Mega Man game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. This game and those that followed comprise the original series, which has since been followed by several spin-off series in the same fictional universe.

Overview
The classic Mega Man series consists of ten main titles including the original game, as well as all Game Boy and PC titles featuring the original design of Mega Man. The classic series is considered to be the origin of the story, with Mega Man being the first installment, and continuing with ten direct sequels. Chronologically after Mega Man 8 comes Mega Man & Bass, followed by Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10.

Main Timeline

  • Mega Man takes place from 200X to 20XX.

  • Mega Man X begins in 21XX.

  • Mega Man Zero is set in a possible timeline from the X series, set 102 years after Zero's ending in Command Mission.

  • Mega Man ZX is set approximately 200 years after the Zero series.

    Super Car

    By : wasin singhanan
Supercar is a term used most often to describe an expensive high end car. It has been defined specifically as "a very expensive, fast or powerful car". Stated in more general terms: "it must be very fast, with sporting handling to match", "it should be sleek and eye-catching" and its price should be "one in a rarefied atmosphere of its own".

However, the proper application of the term is subjective and disputed, especially among enthusiasts. So-called vehicles are typically out of the ordinary and are marketed by automakers to be perceived by the public as unusual. The supercar can take many forms including limited production specials from an "elite" automaker, standard looking cars made by mainstream companies that hide massive power and performance, as well as models that appeal to "hardcore enthusiasts" from "manufacturers on the fringe of the car industry".

"Supercar" is also a label custom car retrofitters reserve for their showcase, one-of-a-kind project vehicles; typically these are very extensively-modified collectible muscle cars, sports cars or grand touring automobiles updated to the very latest "streetable" racing technology.

    Cosplay

    By : wasin singhanan
short for "costume play", is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture centred on role play. A broader use of the term "cosplay" applies to any costumed role play in venues apart from the stage, regardless of the cultural context.

Favorite sources include manga and anime, comic books, video games and films. Any entity from the real or virtual world that lends itself to dramatic interpretation may be taken up as a subject. Inanimate objects are given anthropomorphic forms and it is not unusual to see genders switched, with women playing male roles and vice versa. There is also a subset of cosplay culture centered around sex appeal, with cosplayers specifically choosing characters that are known for their attractiveness and/or revealing (even explicit) costumes.

The Internet has enabled many cosplayers to create social networks and websites centred around cosplay activities, while forums allow them to share stories, photographs, news and tips. The exponential growth in the number of people picking up cosplay as a hobby since 1990 has made the phenomenon influential in popular culture. This is particularly the case in Asia where cosplay influences Japanese street fashion and popular culture.

    Trigonometric functions 2

    Unit circle angles
    File:Unit circle angles color.svg
The six trigonometric functions can also be defined in terms of the unit circle, the circle of radius one centered at the origin. The unit circle definition provides little in the way of practical calculation; indeed it relies on right triangles for most angles.

It also provides a single visual picture that encapsulates at once all the important triangles. From the Pythagorean theorem the equation for the unit circle is:
    x^2 + y^2 = 1. \,

    Trigonometric functions

In mathematics, the trigonometric functions (also called circular functions) are functions of an angle. They are used to relate the angles of a triangle to the lengths of the sides of a triangle. Trigonometric functions are important in the study of triangles and modeling periodic phenomena, among many other applications.

    Chemistry (Acids and Bases)

    Water

We typically talk about acid-base reactions in aqueous-phase environments -- that is, in the presence of water. The most fundamental acid-base reaction is the dissociation of water:
    H2O H+ + OH-

In this reaction, water breaks apart to form a hydrogen ion (H+) and a hydroxide ion (OH-). In pure water, we can define a special equilibrium constant (Kw) as follows:
    KW = [H+][OH-] = 1.00x10-14

    pH

What is of interest in this reading, however, is the acid-base nature of a substance like water. Water actually behaves both like an acid and a base. The acidity or basicity of a substance is defined most typically by the pH value, defined as below:
    pH = -log[H+]
    pOH = -log[OH-]

    Definitions of acids and bases

    Arrhenius
    acid: generates [H+] in solution
    base: generates [OH-] in solution
normal Arrhenius equation: acid + base salt + water
    example: HCl(aq) + NaOH(aq) NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)

    Brønsted-Lowery:
acid: anything that donates a [H+] (proton donor)
base: anything that accepts a [H+] (proton acceptor)
normal Brønsted-Lowery equation: acid + base acid + base
    example: HNO2(aq) + H2O(aq) NO2-(aq)+ H3O+(aq)
    Lewis:
    acid: accepts an electron pair
    base: donates an electron pair

    Online game

    By : wasin singhanan
    Online game

An online game is a video game played over some form of computer network, using a personal computer or video game console. This network is usually the internet or equivalent technology, but games have always used whatever technology was current: modems before the Internet, and hard wired terminals before modems. The expansion of online gaming has reflected the overall expansion of computer networks from small local networks to the internet and the growth of internet access itself. Online games can range from simple text based environments to games incorporating complex graphics and virtual worlds populated by many players simultaneously. Many online games have associated online communities, making online games a form of social activity beyond single player games.

    First-person shooter games

During the 1990s, online games started to move from a wide variety of LAN protocols (such as IPX) and onto the Internet using the TCP/IP protocol. Doom popularized the concept of deathmatch, where multiple players battle each other head-to-head, as a new form of online game. Since Doom, many first-person shooter games contain online components to allow deathmatch or arena style play. And by popularity, first person shooter games are becoming more and more widespread around the world. And FPS (First Person Shooter)

    Real-time strategy games

Early real-time strategy games often allowed multiplayer play over a modem or local network. As the Internet started to grow during the 1990s, software was developed that would allow players to tunnel the LAN protocols used by the games over the Internet. By the late 1990s, most RTS games had native Internet support, allowing players from all over the globe to play with each other.

    Cross-platform online play

As consoles are becoming more like computers, online gameplay is expanding. Once online games started crowding the market, open source networks, such as the Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Xbox took advantage of online functionality with its PC game counterpart. Games such as Phantasy Star Online have private servers that function on multiple consoles.

    Browser games

As the World Wide Web developed and browsers became more sophisticated, people started creating browser games that used a web browser as a client. Simple single player games were made that could be played using a web browser via HTML and HTML scripting technologies (most commonly JavaScript, ASP, PHP and MySQL). More complicated games such as Legend of Empires or Travian would contact a web server to allow a multiplayer gaming environment.
